From a recent seminar, here are the issues:
    Fire Detection
    Fire Suppression
    Computer Room Policies
    Sprinkler Systems
    Halon Phase Out
    Alternatives to Halon
    Consult an Engineer

Detection under raised floors, consider air sampling systems, can help
prevent discharge. Pre action sprinkler systems. Halon grandfathered, can
still re-charge too but no new agent manufactured. Halon alternatives:
inergen, FM-200, FE-13,
Policies oriented on prevention, storing materials in computer room. Good
carbon dioxide extinguishers. Computer room standards.

Subject: fire suppression

Security includes maintaining availability, right? So I guess that includes
preventing and recovering from disasters. Can anyone suggest a good resource
for information about fire suppression in server rooms, etc?
