RE: Spam from Symantec

I get a lot of this, but from the character of the subject lines, I've assumed that it isn't actually generated by
Symantec (e.g., lots of exclamation points, poor grmmar, poor spacing, etc.).

I haven't bothered to try to figure out who's sending these, as they just get deleted with all my other spam. However,
the fact that I keep getting this stuff (i.e., Symantec hasn't succeeded in shutting them down, whoever they are)
doesn't reflect well on Symantec.

That's almost as bad as the amount of SPAM I receive advertising the

Ingenious approach!

Subject: Spam from Symantec

Is anyone on this e-mail continually getting spam e-mails about Norton
System Works 2003? I would think that this would be a scam to try and
get credit card numbers etc... If it was legitimate, I think I will
switch to linux sooner than planned.
