RE: easiest way to keep a Redhat 9 box

Greetings,

I have used Synaptic, which is a gui overlay to apt-get to maintain our
stock of Red Hat Linux boxen (7.X, 8 & 9). It doesn't cost money and it
works with the click of a mouse.

Not bad to install either. You need to install apt, apt-get first though.

Good luck,

RandyW

Subject: easiest way to keep a Redhat 9 box

Hi,

I just installed Redhat 9, and I'm some-what used to using Debian and its
wonderful apt-get command, however I noticed Redhat lacked such a
capability. However, they had the RHN (Redhat Network) option which costs
money.

Is there a third-party piece of software that auto-updates a Redhat box?
