I think any simple bash script should be able to accomplish this.  Check

It's not exactly as you need, but it's a good starting point.

I have two pipes coming into my office.
I would like to create a  redundant situation with the two networks.
I have seen the commercial boxes that do this but I would like to do
this with some type of Linux solution.

So I would like to have one pipe running all the time , then when it
fails , have the other take over.

Any ideas?
