After installing SUS onto a W2K or W2K3 Server, did you also put the piece into the Group Policy telling the client
computers to point to the SUS Server rather than Windows Update?
An easy way to test everything is bring up a new, unpatched W2K Pro or XP Pro box, give it about an hour to download
all the patches, and give it a reboot. After that do a start > run > winmsd and see if you have the Service Pack 4 for
Win2K or Service Pack 1 for XP installed.
