The only way I know of to change IIS banners is to modify the
corresponding
DLL with a hex editor [3]. For example, \winnt\system32\inetsrv\w3svc.dll
for the web service.
this prevents iis from starting ? or does this work cleanly ? googled around for results but had some reports that iis
crashes or becomes unresponcive after this lobotization
