Re: Virus Notification Template

Hi Todd,
I would not recomend sending virus alerts as .doc or .html files 'cause
if your users are used to getting emails from you with a .doc attachemnt
and someone decides to send a spoofed email with a virus infected .doc
attachment no one will think twice about opening the attachment thereby
infecting their computers.

The best format would be a plain text email with no attachments with a
link to a website with more information.

Just my 2 cents.

Does anyone know of a generic Word, .txt, etc. template for sending out email virus alerts/communications to end
users? Thanks in advance.
