Security Basics: VPN from XDA (Pocket PC 2003) and PIX

VPN from XDA (Pocket PC 2003) and PIX

Guys,

I have just opened my new XDA IIs (woo good for me) and I was interested to see that it now supports pptp and IPSEC natively.

However, there appear to be very few settings. Such as, for IPSEC, the hash to use and the encryption level for example. I can only assume that these are fixed, probably to the lowest standard.

Can any one shed any light on what these default settings are, I would like to create a VPN to a PIX firewall but the combination of options is vast.

All help gratefully received.

Andy
