Hi Mike,

There is nothing wrong with the Security+ for a beginner certification. I would
suggest you also look into getting an MCSE and the CCNA as well. The CISSP is
when you have three years experience, and is a management cert only. It is not
overly technical. You may want to look at the GIAC certs but they are getting
expensive, and are giving less in return.
