I can give you a few on this one as we recently hired an etry level
*nix sysad and a security guy, and here's some of the questions we
asked the candidates:
- - How do you recompile a Linux kernel?
- - How do you recompile a FreeBSD kernel?
- - Name 3 differences between ipchains and iptables
- - What is an "Open Relay"
- - How do you start a NULL Session
- - Name 3 ways that you would try to compromise a Win2k machine, patched
up until 6 months ago?
- - What ports do DNS queries use?
- - What are your fav wardriving tools.
If you need more info mail me off list, I'd be glad to help you out.
