I agree totally. Until hearing of this change, I was seriously considering
pursuing the GSEC cert. I will admit it is probably easier to obtain now,
but that's the problem. It is now EASIER to obtain. I was look for
something that would be harder to earn than the certs that I already have,
not just as easy as.

I guess the CISSP is my best option now, at least until the cheapen that
one, too......
