RE: Symantec Mail Security

Personally, I prefer putting the anti-spam software on a separate
machine ahead of the exchange server for several reasons. Anti-spam can
add significant CPU load to the mail server, resulting in slow access to
the user mailboxes. In addition, using open software on the extra
machine allows the admin to add/tailor rule sets to match the mix of
incoming mail.

Subject: Symantec Mail Security

Hello,

I am looking into enabling the AntiSpam feature in Symantec Mail
Security for Microsoft Exchange or purchasing the Premium AntiSpam
feature. Does anyone have experience or thoughts on the two options
available?

Thanks in advance for any input,
