('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) The absence of disapproval for one issue does not automatically imply approval of the opposite issue.

As stated by others, encryption is NOT a good way to "destory" data because the data is still there and could be cracked and recovery at a later date. It is pretty simple.

Therefore, I would assume they do not support encryption for this purpose. Of course you knew that because they already told you that. ;)

If you are wondering why they removed the paragraph, then I am only assume they removed it because the idea is simple and shouldn't even be talked about. lol
