CCNA

I am a CS Undergrad and would like to go into Network Security. I have talked to many people who share my interests and 
they have CCNA. I don't just want the certificate, I want hands-on experience. The only way for me to attend the course 
(i.e. not online) would be to make a 1 hr drive or so. My question is two fold: 1)What certifications are most prized 
(read as: needed for the field/make me stand out). 2)Is it worth the drive for the experience or should I just take it 
online? Thanks!
