Hi,

Looking at the code its a connect scan which will always
be slower/more noisier than a SYN scan performed by scanrand
,poison or unicornscan.
But I don't have root privileges. So the only option left to me is a connect scan. But I still wonder why is nmap's connect scan slower than mine.
unicornscan  is good choice
if wish to tweak more network parameters.

1. unicornscan - http://www.unicornscan.org
2. poison - http://www.nologin.org/main.pl?action=codeView&codeId=55&;
