1st response, too bad this isn't on slashdot.

Nothing wrong from the business standpoint.  If it wasn't for services like Akamai, we wouldn't have subsecond response 
time on most of the web.  The only downside I've ever seen is 1) content version control problems when material gets 
out of sync and 2) you're not in control of the server, so a) availability b) blockage (I block a lot of akamai traffic 
because its junk and twiddle the filters when I need to).
