Can you say Duh?

Another thing that I have not seen related the FDE products mentions.   
Very few products atually provide "Full Disk Encryption", most will  
only encrypt individual volumes(partitions) at best.  The boot code  
and in somecases the keys themselves are not encryptied.
In my opinion, Volume encryption alone is not a method that provodes  
much to safe guard the data, especially on portalble devices.
