When you pass any GIAC certification, you have a GIAC designation in that area. For example GCWN is GIAC Certified
Windows. GIAC also has a GIAC Security Expert http://www.giac.org/certifications/gse.php. This requires certification
in three areas, GSEC, SCIA and GCIH plus a personal interview. Once you pass that, you can sit for the Exam.

Subject: GIAC certification question
Hello,
Does anyone know how many certs/exams are required for the GIAC designation?
I looked at the SANS site and see 13 listed under the Security
Administration heading.
Does anyone know for sure what is required?
http://www.giac.org/certifications/roadmap.php
Thanks
Ren
