Re: A simple question?

That email address got through the list? Nice!

I swear there was a packet capture challenge site a few years ago that had packet capture challenges, but I can't for
the life of me find the link/site. Damn! (it is possible I am thinking of the honeynet scan of the month series...)

Some capture samples: http://www.packet-level.com/traces/index.htm

Here are the samples from the book Practical Packet Analysis: http://nostarch.com/frameset.php?startat=packet

Lastly, maybe you could find actual pcap files out in the net? In fact, Google helps a lot for this. Note: Some of the
caps you find may not have been intended to be for public consumption, but that's the hoster's problem.
Google for: pcap "index of" -libpcap

Does anyone have links to PCAP resources. I noticed 3 sites that had some PCAPs.

Wireshark's blog

Openpacket.org

EvilFingers.com

I am able to understand the first 2 sites listed above, though the 3rd one did not have good naming. Are there any
sites you recommend? Also, is EvilFinger site anything evilish, what are your reviews?
