Hi,

at the risk of you deciding to throw your Tivoli stuff in the trash, check out OSSEC at http://www.ossec.net . If you
decide not to install it (I know, I'm teasing you)
the rules available in the package should give you quite a good overview of what events you might want to look out for.

Cheers,

Wim

Hi List,
We have deployed IBM Tivoli agents to Unix and Linux servers in order to collect security events and dump to a syslog
server. But which security events to log? Is there a baseline document that can provide guidelines? or a document
that describes events generated by these devices?

thanks in advance.
