tcpd on ultrix 4.3a
From: ray () ariel ucs unimelb EDU AU (Douglas Ray)

one of our departments has installed tcpd (log_tcp 6.3) on a decstation
5000 running ultrix 4.3a.

Around 5 hours after boot, the system grinds to a halt with a
"file table full" diagnostic.

The tcpd daemons are installed in the path of the original executable,
rather than referenced explicitly in syslog.conf.

anyone recognise this problem?
