Re: R utilities, addresses, etc.

  Hi..


On a pretty-close-to-related issue, why can't the r utitiles handle ip
addresses?Seems to be a glaring omission.


  Interesting question.. On SunOS, Ultrix (BSDs ?!) r* commands don't work
  with IP, but on IRIX and AIX (sysV ?!?) it works.

  That's just results of test.. but why ?!  Thank you!
