I followed the exact same procedure, on my PowerBook and a co- 
worker's Mac Mini, and received identical results.  I don't know why  
the resulting hash is different from yours.  Each computer downloaded  
the file independently, using separate iTunes accounts, and each  
burned its own CD.  I'm far from expert in audio processing, but I  
figured I'd throw my results out there in case someone finds them  
useful.
