Google's not turning up much after a quick search.  I'm sure
someone on the list can provide a pointer.

sounds like a berkeley varitronics grasshopper. used one a while back to 
find rogue access points. incredibly useful piece of gear. being a radio 
freak, i drool over their stuff a lot...
