SANS "Early Bird" Registration Extended at OSU

FYI, the SANS training at Oregon State University in Corvallis OR has
extended it's "early bird" registration until Friday, Feb. 16th.

SANS Training Opportunity
SANS training is recognized as the best in the world and we're delighted
to announce a new program enabling public sector employees to attend
SANS courses for about one-third the listed price, including all course
materials and all breaks and lunches. Oregon State University and the
State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services are sponsoring a
5-day SANS "Securing Windows" security course on the OSU campus March 12
- 16 '07.
This is a new program the SANS Institute is piloting with states to
provide cost effective, quality SANS security training to higher
education, state government, community colleges, county/city government,
and other public sector agencies.
You are eligible for the educational and government participant discount
if you are a:
--Faculty or staff member from an accredited educational institution,
including colleges, universities, technical training institutes, K-12
schools or any institution with a .edu domain name.
--Law enforcement member at the state or local level.
--Employee of a state, county, or city entity.
--Early Bird Registration | By February 7, 2007 | $1200
--Regular Registration | By March 9, 2007 | $1300
--At the Door | On March 12, 2007 | $1450
