REN-ISAC has partnered with SANS to make highly respected security
training available to the education community at steeply discounted
prices. The partnership will make SANS OnDemand technical training,
including GIAC, and Securing The Human user awareness training available
during a special aggregate purchase period from June 1 through July 31,

Securing the Human (STH) provides extensive employee security awareness
training that targets today's weakest link in enterprise security – the
human. Online training modules cover topics such as social engineering,
using e-mail safely, smartphone security and FERPA. The special pricing
is a limited-time opportunity. The regular price for 250 users is $20
per user, but during this window, the price will drop to $1.60 per user
for a 1-year license (minimum order $2,000) or $2.80 per user for a
2-year license (minimum order $3,500).

With OnDemand technical training, you have a choice from more than 40
SANS courses that can be accessed from a PC or iPad, such as:

SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style
SEC504: Hacker Techniques, Exploits & Incident Handling
SEC560: Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking
FOR508: Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response
MGT414: SANS +S Training Program for the CISSP Certification Exam

Each course is taught by one of the top SANS instructors using a mix of
slides, video demonstrations, interactive labs and assessment tests. The
student will have four months of access to the OnDemand course.

SANS Long Courses are regularly $4,500, but during this window, the
price will be only $1,350. SANS Short Courses are regularly $1,000, but
during this window, the price will be $675. The GIAC bundled price will
be $579. The minimum order size will be $4,000.

Happy Users

"I have never seen such high quality training, distilled to a perfected
message, and compressed into a timeframe that any organization should
willingly commit employee time to taking as a risk reduction strategy."
James A. (Jim) Richards III, West Virginia Chief Information Security

"We just purchased the SANS Securing the Human, which I think is the
best I have ever seen. In addition it's backed up by SANS extensive
experience and knowledge base in infosec."
