Mike, need criteria, and what you expect to gain... personally, I would go
to the RAID (Recent Advances in Intrusion Detection) conference, which
tends to be more academic/research.  However, I would check the schedule
to see if they were following the "recent" and "advances" parts pretty
heavily...
