For Email, PGP's pretty much got the scene locked up, in my
opinion. For file/data encryption there are a wealth of options.
Personally, I use a thing called 'scramdisk' which is a freebie
virtual volume encryptor. It's worked OK under various Win9
kernels for me and it's pretty easy to use.
