Subject: Re: [fw-wiz] Nokia/CheckPoint transfer of ownership

Just a thought about trnasfer authorizations, company
letterheads, and security.....

Since just about anybody can recreate any company's
letterhead with readily available tools and graphics snagged
from a website, why is
it security minded firms don't insist on more secure methods
(affidavits by signing officers of transferor and transferee,
etc. ) of
collecting such requests? When will technology firms come to
grips with the non-technical aspects of security?

Only when it begins to hurt them in their pocketbook...
