Hi Bob,
You might want to give packetyzer a go.
Check it out: http://www.networkchemistry.com/products/packetyzer/
Great freeware stuff, based on ethereal. Filtering capabilities are very
nice and it's written for windows platforms.
Especially the GUI that lets you follow the TCP handshakes is pretty
cool.
Cheers,
Jeroen

Subject: [fw-wiz] OT: Sniffers
Greetings.
What packet capture/sniffer tools are folks using?
I've been using M$ Network Monitor, which ships with SMS, and it's OK,
but always looking for something better. I really don't need trending,
etc - just a robust, stable capture tool which allows me to save and
also to print as text.
Thanks.
Bob W
