I use MS Network Monitor for most captures because I like the interface. The
upside is very robust filtering capabilities. The only downside is no real
time packet capture display. For that I use Ethereal. It is just the
opposite of Network Monitor. Great real time display, sucky filtering.

Subject: [fw-wiz] OT: Sniffers
Greetings.
What packet capture/sniffer tools are folks using?
I've been using M$ Network Monitor, which ships with SMS, and it's OK,
but always looking for something better. I really don't need trending,
etc - just a robust, stable capture tool which allows me to save and
also to print as text.
Thanks.
