Firewall Wizards: certificate management requirements

I am planning to implement some GUI-driven certificate management
functions in my firewall device (certificates are used for SSL and IPSEC
connections). Which ones are necessary, considering only basic functions
have to be controlled by GUI (the backend is kame ipsec and openssl)?

I think i should provide some typical scenarios - how should those look?

(suggestions on VPN setup functionality beyond certificate management are
also welcome).
