Funny you should mention that, Ron, as, when I first saw Jeffrey's
comments, that was the *first* thing that ran through my mind.
When I get the kind of question to which Jeffrey refers, I usually do
insert something like "You know, when I was a child, and wanted to do
something inadvisable and my parents wouldn't let me, and I complained
``But so-and-so does it!,'' I'd usually get back ``And if so-and-so
jumps off a bridge, are you going to, too?''" The lesson taught me by
that simple exchange, repeatedly ;), has stood me in good stead all
