Firewall Wizards: kaspersky

Hi,
My friends from the middle east are having problems regarding the use of the kaspersky firewall. They  are having too 
much lag and when using multimedia messaging systems, their voice break and their connection became poor. Kaspersky is 
the thing they have in common.
May you please tell me if there is anything they can do to get rid of the problem?
