IDS Deployment Metrics

Can anyone point me to some good deployment metrics for network IDS? Just
looking for percentages of companies using IDS, not broken down by vendor.

I've seen one number, 85%, in an Info Sec mag reader survey from 2001, but
I'd like some additional sources.
