You may be interested in the most recent NSS Gigabit IDS test results:
http://www.nss.co.uk/download_form.htm

The full version costs money, but most of the information is available
from the web-based (free) version.  Tested were RealSecure, Netscreen, NFR
and Manhunt.  Manhunt has a very interesting approach to IDS, and I've
had some good experience with it in the past.
