Yeah, I get this too. (In fact I wrote to the list about it as well,
including to the moderator quite some time ago.) I've simply setup a
filter to auto-delete it (among the 30 other "Out of office" replies,
dead email addresses, and auto-responders).

Some advice: Do not have mailing lists go to an email address with an
auto-responder. Period. As for the invalid email addresses, I'd hope
that the mods would prune the database now and then to remove them.
(It's entirely possible they never see such addresses, however all
they have to do is send a message to the list and see the returned
emails themselves.)

For now, best I can recommend is to setup a rule/filter to delete it
automatically.

Are these guys phishing, swishing or whatever Netherlands uber alles?
Or is this just their mail-server barfing? Should probably point dig at it
and debug it but I have gotten in trouble for that type of "help" before?

Keep on computing, even though your bytes are fried.

Jan Clairmont, Paladin of the Dept. of Insecurity Department, where no redundancy is allowed or is it redundancy is
required, have to look that up in the book of insecurity security chapter 4 verse 3(The bible of the Mad Arab Adulah
Medula, taken from
the NecronoMicron or the latest M$ directorate).

Unix Security Support/Consultant I think?
