Re: MediaSentry false positives?
From: Albert Deindl <deindl () irt de>

Hello,

Has anybody received "Notice of claimed infringement" from MediaSentry
for IP addresses which, while registered to you or your organization,
are in a range not actively in use?

Just to mention:
We also received several "Notice of claimed infringement" from MediaSentry over the last few weeks.

All ip addresses claimed to offer copyrighted material were from unused
Subnets.
Although these subnets ARE routed - we can almost certainly
rule out the possibility of some employee using these ips at the
claimed time unbeknown to us.

It seems to me that MediaSentrie's tools are not working as the are supposed to do.

Albert
