Re: Dameware critical hole
From: Juha-Matti Laurio <juha-matti.laurio () netti fi>

Just noticed that site http://www.dameware.co.uk/thankyouremote.asp?group=Downloads is working (powered by Microplus, UK). DWMRCW.exe package installs an unaffected 4.9.2.4 version (evalution copy). But according to my knowledge you can install eval version without removing previous (commercia)l installation when updating your DW 4.x. No change to make a long distance call to US to check the situation of DW company staff (and building) after Katrina.

Regards,
Juha-Matti

www.dameware.com <http://www.dameware.com> has been down since yesterday
evidently due to hurricane Katrina.

whois lists the company as being located in Mandeville, LA, which is across
Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans.
