Hi, got the same error regarding rrdtool on a Slackware 10.0 (even
tryied to downgrade rrd to a lower version: no change).
Rrdtool works with the examples provided on the package.

insideout, a quick look at the python code shows that the webserver
can only be accessed on the same machine via loopback, is that what
you try?
