My guess is that some correct dso is missed and so some particular
symbol (function) is no found. Try
$ ldd file-you-try-to-execute
to see what dynamic libraries get linked in on startup. Most likely
you have several libraries and a wrong one is used.

For more information about dso
$ man ld.so
