This is a known bug in Honeyd 1.0.  Although, I promised a bug fix
release a while ago, I have not been able to find the time.  However,
I realize that it's very frustrating to deal with these bugs, so
please try

which is an untested release candidate for the next release that
should no long exhibit these problems.
