yes, that was the problem. I used the IP and MAC-address of the
computer's second physical network interface for the one honeypot I set
up using honeyd. Although I turned the interface off by using "ifconfig
eth1 down", it was still responding to connection attempts on it's IP.
To solve the problem I changed the IP of the now unused interface and
then everthing worked fine.
