Sorry bit it is not proper to post that kind of post if it is not reverent
to the subject of the group. It is basic internet accepted policy not to
post when a subject is not the subject of the group or generally related to
the subject of the group.

I disagree. In some situation I see this type of posting as completely
proper. Think about your post the next time that you are in a situation were
you are in need of help and don't know where to turn.
