Re: Mail Server attack
From: joel () DIGGY COM AU (Joel Michael)

well, it seems to have all settled down now. what happened was that a
script that the MTA (Netscape Messaging Server 3.6/Solaris) called to
check for the existence of a domain we host wasn't being called,
allowing all hell to break loose on mail relaying (nothing got
rejected). semi-random changes to the configuration file made it go :)

a big thanks to all those that replied with helpful suggestions, they
were all appreciated.
