IP Options

I see these every now and again and I have been chalking them up to
something munging packets or misconfigured but I thought I would run
them by the list. Anyone have any thoughts? All of these seem to
orginate from cable modem users. I have not been able to find a good
source for decoding what IP options mean. TCP/IP Illustrated Vol. 1 is
kinda thin on them (or I am not looking in the right place).
