I, personally, don't believe in 'security through obscurity' and don't
think it'll hurt to let possible attackers know that I do more than
just simple logging. 'This is a house where a gun lives' has proven to
be a slogan which reduced the crime in some neighborhoods significantly
(even I, a pro gun-controller, have to admit THAT :), so why not apply
this philosophy to my work place?

If security voids itself by becoming public knowledge, maybe the
approch itself has to be rethought?
