Are you looking for an opportunity to use your IT security, auditing, and Sox background?
Safeco is looking for an IT Compliance Analyst.
The IT Compliance Analyst provides support to the IT Security and Compliance Director in implementing the Information Technology portions of the Security and Risk Management Plans, including budgeting, planning, creating compliance programs, assessing IT controls, work paper documentation, management meetings, and report writing.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform detailed review, documentation, and testing of key IT controls supporting the company's annual Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance assessment and other security and compliance programs
– Audit security policies and procedures, new and existing systems, and new and existing infrastructure
– Assist in assessing the status of external service provider’s internal controls, confirming that they comply with legal and regulatory requirements and contractual obligations
– Determine compliance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
– Assist in the definition and development of audit objectives with regard to audit assignments
– Review and assess risk mitigation plans
– Organize and present findings to process owners and delegates
– Participate in the development and execution of quality assurance plans to ensure new processes and systems have proper IT controls
– Follow-up on compliance issues to make sure they are being addressed by the appropriate parties in a timely manner
– Produce and maintain a list of open audit/security issues, and communicate issues to the appropriate management levels

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications;
– 3+ years of general IT experience preferably with security, audit or business analysis experience
– Good knowledge of IT Audit and Compliance Fundamentals, COBIT and Sarbanes-Oxley (Computer Controls)
– Prior experience performing IT Risk Assessments
– Sarbanes Oxley experience highly desired
– Good understanding in the areas such as servers, mid-range, mainframes, network topology and access controls, physical security, change and problem management, code promotion, privileged access needs, and effective monitoring
– Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
– Ability to meet deliverables and deadlines with quality standards
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
– Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
– Prior experience evaluating external service providers a plus
– CISA, CIA, CISSP a plus
