Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Mountain View, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Our client is an exciting and innovative leader in the DLP space and they are currently looking for a bright and driven Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The focus of this position will be developing application protocol handlers and content analysis engines.
This position will be one in which the winning candidate will work collaboratively with the rest of the team. It will also require the winning candidate to utilize not only their highly polished technical skills but also their people skills as they interact with different departments as well as clients and partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements for this position include but may not be limited to:
- 6+ years experience in the security industry, working with a wide range of products.
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP as well as application protocols such as HTTP, POP3, SMTP, IMAP, FTP, etc.
- Ability to Analyze and Decode network protocols.
- Ability to implement protocol modules.
- Excellent c/C++ design and implementation experience.
- Experience participating in at least one entire product life cycle, from inception to shipping and customer support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be an excellent team player. Must know how to "play nice with others".
