Sr. IT Security Analyst-3025
The IT Security Department is looking for a Senior IT Security Analyst to join their team.
The main point: THE SR. IT SECURITY ANALYST WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING ON SELECTION, DEPLOYMENT, TUNING AND MONITORING OF THE COMPANY'S SEM(SECURITY EVENT MANAGEMENT) SYSTEMS.

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise information systems security, including but not limited to data storage, SCADA, Active Directory, systems development and deployment, LAN/WAN, web systems, telecommunications and voice systems. This role will ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT applications, hardware and data as outlined by best practices and corporate IT security policy. You will provide IT security expertise to project teams. Responsibilities include evaluation of IT risk exposure and remediation. The Sr IT Security Analyst will develop and deploy tools, systems, and processes that protect enterprise data and systems from unauthorized users. You will be responsible for identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations as well as managing vendor/contractor relationships for assigned security projects. This position may lead and direct the work of others for assigned projects. Perform 24 hour sup
port.
Responsibilities will include ensuring end-to-end protection of the network and data resources through the daily management and monitoring of the company's defensive systems (IDS/IPS, scanners, SEM) and endpoint security systems (enterprise anti virus/spyware, endpoint encryption, local FW/HIPS). This will involve hands-on coordination of remedial measures for security events, incident management and audit data management. You will also generate regular and ad hoc reports on the security posture: event aggregation, detection statistics, access violations and remedial actions.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for the company's SEM (Security Event Management) system.
• Vulnerability assessment - scanning and reporting.
• Assistance with the data gathering and management of operational e-discovery.
• Keep abreast of new and rising industry security trends, threats and vulnerabilities.
• Oversight and management of all change management procedures associated with infrastructure security products (anti virus/spy ware/mail encryption, etc.).
• Integration of patch management and other automated remediation systems with vulnerability assessment utilities including physical security of secure data center locations.
• Project Management for the upgrade path and deployment of security-related projects.
• Expert in hardening information systems including Active Directory, Exchange Servers, Windows, Unix Servers and Databases.
• Experience with operating enterprise management tools and techniques to deploy security policy, enforce and monitor security controls and identification of suspicious activity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications
Required:
• 5 years IT security related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of IT security concepts, best practices and procedures.
• 5 years of proven technical skills in two or more of the following: database protection, data storage, SCADA,
• Active Directory, systems development and deployment, LAN/WAN, web systems, telecommunications and voice systems.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to discuss many options and objectively determine the best solution to a problem
• Ability to multi-task, analyze
Desired:
• A bachelor's degree in IT-related field, depending on experience.
• Professional Certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, MCSE or CCNP.
• Previous experience as part of an IT Security department.
• Utility/SCADA experience.
• Scripting and programming experience.
